Why hire a designer?

Many may ask themselves about reasons to hire a designer. The reason is simple, yet misunderstood.

This question is often asked due to the many easy to use programs that are available at no cost or that already come with your computer. The fact is that no matter how easy and fancy the program might be, the effectiveness of the design will not always be there. Even if your nephew down the block has the latest version of Photoshop and is doing the ad for free.

I have seen many ads of people that I guess didn't take the time or want to spend the money on hiring a professional designer. Put it this way, when your car needs a paint job, you don't try to paint it yourself. Instead, you take it to a professional that knows what they're doing.

Designers not only go to school to use all the latest and greatest programs, but they study design and how to use it effectively. Every ad, commercial, logo, etc., you see from a major company, always has a designer behind it. EVEN if the design looks like something a kid could easily come up with. It was still processed and studied carefully to make it work. Think of all the successful brands and the art used to represent them. There is a reason why they are who are they are today.

I recommend taking any marketing requests to a professional. Otherwise, some one out there will see that you didn't want to take the time and invest the money on your business.
